I’m a Tech Lead Engineer at Youse, with over 15 years building systems that matter to real people. I’ve always cared more about the impact of what we build than the technology we use to build it.

I’m a neurodivergent and atypical father — and that experience has deeply shaped the way I see teams, communication, and empathy at work. I learned that clarity isn’t a detail: it’s the foundation of everything.

My Life

I’m based in São Paulo and split my time between systems architecture, technical leadership, and fatherhood — which, honestly, has taught me more about management than any tech book ever could.

Being neurodivergent gave me a different perspective on how we learn, how we collaborate, and how we create environments where different people can do their best work. That lens shapes everything I do, inside and outside of work.

Current Work

I’m currently a Tech Lead at Youse, where I lead engineering teams with a focus on technical quality, development culture, and purposeful delivery.

My role goes beyond shipping features: I enjoy mentoring the team, helping each person grow both professionally and as a human being. I believe leadership is about removing barriers, enabling the work, and creating a trust-based environment — where everyone feels safe to fail, learn, and propose solutions.

I value loyalty and team spirit: when we get it right, we get it right together. I strive to be someone easy to work with — someone who listens, guides, and encourages the group to achieve sustainable results without losing the joy of working as a team.

Day to day, I translate technical challenges into practical solutions, always connecting technology, business, and people.

Research Interests

I’m actively exploring the impact of Artificial Intelligence on software development — not just in tooling, but in how we think about productivity, creativity, and the role of the engineer in the near future.

I’m also interested in neurodiversity in tech environments, effective async communication, and how distributed teams can build software with more empathy and less noise.
